On the Issue of Students' Multilingual Competence (Evidence from Higher Educational Institutions of the City of Vladimir)

Abstract

The article analyzes the state of multilingual competence of students of higher educational institutions in the city of Vladimir. The main research method was an online survey of students. The results revealed a rather low level of multilingualism. Students lack linguistic competence in different life situations: from using a computer to communicating with citizens of other states.
