PREDICTIVE LANDSCAPE-ECOLOGICAL MAPPING OF A BOREAL ECOTONE ON THE RUSSIAN PLAIN

Abstract

Two Russian geographers describe a method for compiling maps of anticipated environmental changes resulting from human climate-altering activity for vegetation associations in a broad zone of transition between taiga and broadleaved forests in central European Russia.
