Abstract

Correlation techniques are widely used for motion and velocity measurement. In this work correlation of one dimensional range images are used to estimate target motion. A length measurement, which is based on the shift estimation of the consecutive overlapping profiles, is studied. Profiles are supposed to be calibrated one dimensional range images and measured from a moving rough surface in the direction of the surface movement.
