Cloud Computing and its Role in Serving Finance and Business: Saudi Arabia's Experience

Abstract

The ICT sector has been leading the contemporary world to multiple worlds in various fields of development; it has become one of the main pillars of the progress and growth of countries. This study aims to know the definition of cloud computing technology, as one of the most prominent technologies used and influential in most areas, and the advantages of cloud computing and its applications on the world level and analysis of the size of the global market for cloud computing, which explains the growth rates and the size of the current and future market and economy. The study concluded that the legislation of policies, regulations and incentives based on the "cloud computing First" policy, which accelerated the adoption and adoption of cloud services for important Saudi companies and sectors, including: the health sector, the banking sector; the industrial sector; the restaurants and cafes sector; and the communications and information technology sector
