Case Study of Building a High-Performance Team: Endpoint Engineering Experiment

Abstract

Hear the story about the conception of our Endpoint Engineering team that brought together a diverse group of high-potential individuals from within our organization to focus their efforts on maximizing our efficiencies. This cross-functional team was charged with reimagining desktop support and lab management across the entire university. Their prime directive was to bridge the centralized and decentralized IT organizations to deliver a collaborative service. The result of this effort, we anticipate, will offer a level of service that exceeds anything that either organization alone has delivered in the past, and support Lehigh University's Path to Prominence vision [1].
