Interdisciplinary research underlying education at the educational and scientific facilities for innovative economy

Abstract

Direction for innovation-driven development of the native economy is set by energy security. In turn, energy security is based not only on sufficient resources, affordability, environmental and technological compatibility, but also on staff sufficiency. This paper focuses on the role of efficient staffing level in the development of innovative economy. The role of educational and scientific facilities at technical universities and significance of holding interdisciplinary research through the prism of personnel training are shown. Experience accumulated by Saint Petersburg Mining University in the establishment of an education and scientific center “Energy Saving and Energy Efficiency” is described.
