Research on the influence of family factors on college students' career choice based on SPSS software

Abstract

This study takes the full-time college students in Hangzhou Xiasha Higher Education Park as the research object, adopts the quantitative research method, deeply analyzes how family factors affect college students' job-seeking process and explores how family capital affects college students' employment cognition and employment expectation. This study will explore the relationship between family capital and college students' employment intention through a questionnaire survey. By collecting 236 sample data of College Students' employment intention on the Internet, using SPSS 25 software to make descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, difference analysis, and regression analysis on the data, this paper discusses the impact of family capital on personal, professional status in today's society. Family research results show that family social capital factors include father's occupation and father's work unit, which greatly impact College Students' employment intention. Finally, the researchers put forward relevant research suggestions: first, families respect college students' freedom of employment and provide strong support for job hunting; second, master students improve their employment confidence and reduce the family capital shortage on employment.
