Abstract

In view of the pandemic scenario we are experiencing, we propose a minicourse aimed at the application of Computer Vision techniques that can be useful to support the authorities in the control of restrictive measures. The minicourse aims to explain the concepts of techniques such as Convolutional Neural Network, Multi-task Cascaded Convolutional Networks, FaceNet and Multilayer Perceptron, practically applying such techniques in a Computer Vision system to detect whether people in a given environment are or are not using mask.
