Microcomputer-Based Acquisitions Systems: Where Have We Come From; Where Are We Going?

Abstract

This article discusses the development of microcomputer- based acquisitions systems. It describes the features common to many of them and projects possible future improvements and developments. It summarizes research done for the author's Automated Acquisitions System.
