Abstract

Data on the earth stations of GASCOM development and production, principles of their construction and fundamental characteristics on the basis of specific requirements to earth stations of YANIAL satellite communication system are adduced. The main results of work in the part of development of YAMAL satellite communication system and tasks to be solved thus, are adduced. The earth stations are modem devices, able to perform many functions and unite the plenty of services, given to user. The comparative analysis of earth stations, at operation through the GORIZONT and YAMAL Earth satellites, from the point of view of earth stations capacity increase, decrease of cost, is presented.
