Abstract

In this contribution the conditions for obtaining circulator function in a ring network composed of nonreciprocal phase shifters and power dividers are studied. Analytical results and simulations of prestanda are presented. It is found that only one nonreciprocal phase shifter is needed, which leads to novel circulator configurations with more flexibility in the physical realisation.
