Abstract

This chapter aims to provide insights into the modulation and coding schemes (MCS) tailored for-and synchronization issues faced by-the nano-scale electromagnetic communication systems operating in the terahertz (THz) band. The MCS is of paramount importance for the works dealing with rate and power adaptation by the transmitter when channel state information at transmitter (CSIT) of the link is available.
