The neighbours of sensor nodes going to become CHs have also been neglected in the existing work. This dissertation has proposed two modifications where radius based grouping is used before CH selection to decrease the computation time. The new algorithm is the modification of ECRSEP and hence, is named MECRSEP (Modified ECRSEP).
