Abstract

Investigations of the lightning discharge impact on the unmanned aerial vehicle electronic control system were fulfilled. We were considering the case of a direct lightning strike into the fuselage of an unmanned aerial vehicle. The fuselage of an unmanned aerial vehicle and its plumage were made from carbon-fiber composite material. An example of predicting the immunity of the electronic system and recommendations to reduce electromagnetic influence were discussed.
