The measured values are transmitted through the GSM for monitoring purposes. A solar panel is used power-up the system and autonomy is provided through a lead-acid battery This allows application of system in remote areas where grid is unavailable. Abstract

Due to growing environmental and water challenges, sustained availability of clean water is very important.
