Abstract
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a promising technology for many applications such as automatic checkout at shops, inventory tracking at warehouses, product tracking in logistics, and so on. However, practical application is still limited because even the current state-of-the-art RFIDs do not meet all the requirements in terms of production cost, communication range, and reliable operation such as collision avoidance.
