Abstract

The Internet of things is an important technology for computer network, and it is of great importance for the information era. In this paper, we aim to integrate the Internet of things and middleware technology together to effectively monitor laboratory environment. Currently, IoT related researches can be classified to three directions: such as Internet-oriented, things-oriented, and semantic-oriented. Afterwards, the structure of the IoT middleware for laboratory environmental monitoring is provided, which contains: Information gateway, Security component, Routing component, Message queue, and so on.
