The author has developed an applied method of architectural-planning customization of apartments by the users themselves using the planning constructor. For this, all possible zones in a multi-family residential building were structured into various categories and modified in the form of planning modules. The planning constructor allows users to combine modules, collecting apartments into blocks in an infinite number of variations, revealing to the residents almost limitless possibilities for individualizing apartments, while the architect, in this case, acts as a “moderator” and only slightly modifies the results. Architectural planning and design solutions were developed, as well as docking principles for residential buildings of three types: blocked building, gallery, and tower. The principles of creating facades of such buildings are described according to the same principle of the planning constructor; the principle of the location of vertical engineering communications in the house was described. Abstract
