Open source ERP: ODOO implementation at micro small medium enterprises: (A case study approach at CV. XYZ in module purchasing and production)

Abstract

Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) is an integrated systems that used in integrating all the business process in a company. CV.XYZ is a micro small medium enterprise (MSME) in Indonesia that produce ice for public daily consumption. Currently CV.XYZ only using microsoft excel in documenting their transaction. This condition could be a barrier for CV.XYZ to grow. Implementing ERP is one of the popular solution that seen as one of solution that can help CV. XYZ in improving their business process and technology. This research is using a qualitative method and explained on a case study approach by conducting an interview and surveys at CV.XYZ. a secondary data and previous research material are also used to support this research. Reviewed many product of ERP that suitable for MSME and analyzing the as-is business process, this research got the gap or problem that need to be solved, also obtained the to-be business process that embed Odoo open source ERP. The output of this resarch are business process proposal of a manufacturing company in implementing Odoo open source ERP especially in modules: production and purchasing.
