Abstract

This paper presents a dual-band filtering antenna achieving a large frequency ratio of 8.2, which reveals high frequency selectivity within two operation bands and good radiation suppression at the middle band. The antenna is implemented using a square patch backed with a slotted substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity.
