Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the main problems faced by developers of power traveling wave tubes. The article describes the problems of increasing the heat dissipation capacity in helix slow-wave structures of TWT. The authors of the article presented an improved technology of assembling the output helix slow-wave structure and its main advantages. The article presents a slow-wave structure obtained by the solid-phase connection method. Modified design of the slow-wave structure will allow to obtain high-power broadband TWT and will increase the dissipating power of the slow-wave structure.
