By analyzing WebGIS technology and the business requirements of maintenance departments, this paper presents a design for an inspection and maintenance management system used in urban bridges. The system can be used separately or integrated in a bridge management system(BMS). The main objective of the system is to cut down the workload for the maintenance personnel and improve the management efficiency for administrators.
