Abstract

This research presents a study on the emergence of folklore in the Qatari poetry, where it starts from giving some information about folklore, as well as it reviews its appearance in the Qatari poetry, especially in ships, trade and pearl fishing, as well as it refers to some popular habits such as a child's throwing his tooth to the sun and offering gifts on religious occasions, not only but also on performing some types of dancing and singing, in order of employing some proverbs and popular expressions to express an idea
