Based on the obtained analytical results, an adaptive channel coding scheme is designed. Abstract

Adaptation is a primary issue for achieving efficient bandwidth utilization in wireless communication systems because of dynamic fluctuations in channel conditions. This paper details the implementation of an adaptive channel coding and modulation system using Reed Solomon (RS) codes. RS codes are non-binary error correcting codes that are capable of correcting burst and random errors.
