The Evolution Characteristics and Tendency Study of Region Space of Tourism Economy in China

Abstract

Based on the theory of non-equilibrium growth, through the quantitative analysis of evolution trend from vertical and horizontal angles, this thesis presents the overall difference of the economic development of China's regional tourism and local differences accordingly. The results show that at the overall level, China's tourism economy tends to get better and the overall difference is decreasing, but regional imbalances still exist. At the regional level, the regional differentiation of tourism economy still exists. Although the regional disparity of tourism economy in three areas is reducing, the overall difference maintains a stable level. The center of tourism economy gradually shifts from tourism-intensive region in Midwest to eastern coastal region in space.
