Many students are introduced to Professor Matthew Liberatore during Engineer Days on the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) campus after answering this question in the affirmative. Matt and his rheology research group demonstrate the rheological properties of corn starch/water mixtures and get students actively involved and learning about chemical engineering. Active participation and learning are foundational to all of Matt’s actions as a professor.
