Internet of Things - A Realization

Abstract

World is transforming to its digital counterpart at a faster pace. With the advent of high speed internet, the present day world witnessed a disruptive change in the means by which data is being collected, transmitted and analyzed. This paper presents an in-depth study of the Internet of Things technology and how it is transforming the world. Also, this paper provides an overview of the functional view, different architectures, technologies, application areas and hardware design concepts of the Internet of Things. The effect of more future technologies like machine learning and artificial intelligence is also discussed here.
