Abstract

Various Internet of Things (IoT) services, and technologies for their deployment, have been widely discussed by Standards Development Organizations (SDOs). In some SDOs, the use cases of IoT services have been collected and analyzed to clarify technical requirements. This paper summarizes the trends of IoT services and the activities of SDOs, with a special focus on ISO/IEC JTC1/SC41. The requirements according to use case analysis are also clarified.
