Abstract

The German energy industry is in flux. Renewable energies, unbundling of energy supply chains and increasing competition pressure require innovative approaches to the organization of energy distribution. The Internet of Energy epitomizes the technological framework for the energy market of the future. It allows decentralized control and more efficient use of renewable energy.
