The benefits of a quality tool in a Student Branch: Implementing the 5S methodology to create a new culture

Abstract

This paper aims to explain the implementation of the 5S methodology into the workplace of IEEE UFABC Student Branch as a new culture and the benefits and changes after it. Also, explain each one of the 5 stages that compose the 5S organization method and how it was applied, along with its complications, solutions, benefits and community feedback.
