A neuropsychological test battery for identifying dementia in people with Down's syndrome

Abstract

A test battery comprising 6 assessing tools to assess and monitor cognitive decline in elderly dementing clients with learning disabilities is presented. Findings from the study involving 8 clients with Down's syndrome are detailed together with a discussion of the problems of testing elderly clients with learning disabilities.
