Abstract
A broadband thermo-optically tuned Mach-Zehnder based SOI switch is designed to operate in O-band with integrated resistive heaters and wavelength insensitive 3-dB couplers. The switch enables >30 dB extinction ratio over 100 nm wavelength range with 9.8 mW/FSR thermal tuning efficiency.
