Abstract
Metal-organic frameworks with pre-organized channels can be utilized to host various dye molecules to control their optical properties. The anionic framework of In-BTB MOF is an ideal host for encapsulating Reichardt's dye and rhodamine 6G. The optical properties of both encapsulated dyes were investigated using solid-state UV/Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy.
