Abstract

This paper proposes to model and control a nonlinear biological process. the main contribution concerns the use of fuzzy logic type Takagi-Sugeno to elaborate a fuzzy model and build fuzzy controllers. Two control approaches are considered. The first is the parallel distributed compensation control with respect constraints on the manipulated inputs. The second is an optimal linear quadratic integral control. An observer based control is used in the case of immeasurable premise variables. Finally, the effectiveness and performances of the method are illustrated in simulation by considering a nonlinear system.
