Abstract

With the evolution of the technology in renewable energy sources DC-AC converters are gaining a lot of attention. They find applications in AC micro grids where the distributed energy sources (DES), like photo voltaic cell, fuel cell, micro combined heat and power energy sources are connected to conventional AC grid system. In this research paper a power electronic filter along with control scheme is designed and presented to suppress higher order harmonics and high voltage spikes in the output to achieve high power quality.
