Abstract

The article examines the influence of the number of measured components of the electromagnetic field on the accuracy of NF-FF transformations. The direct transformation from the scanning surface equivalent to the plane waves expansion and the inverse transformation through the equivalent currents on antenna aperture are considered. It is shown that the use of all six components of the electromagnetic field on the scanning surface makes it possible in certain conditions to reduce the errors by more than 1 dB.
