Abstract

The objective was to review the main technologies in ruminant production for measuring respiratory rate (RR), heart rate (HR) and body temperature (BT). Physiological changes may indicate imbalance of vital body functions, so identifying their cause is crucial for early and assertive decision making. The use of technology aids in remote and continuous monitoring of the animals.
