Abstract

As part of a systematic study about the influence of high altitude on flashover voltage in live line work configurations, in this paper, the results of tests carried out at high altitude on a 123 kV transmission line structure (steel lattice) used in the Mexican power system and a rodplane configuration with a sphere at floating potential are presented.
