Abstract

A non-linear cascaded model for the design and analysis of an integrated solid-state transmitter (TX) and digital receiver (DREX) with dual-conversion mixers has been implemented for an electronic scan large phased array radar. Such a system requires a high sensitivity, low system phase noise, high clutter attenuation, and handling wide range of signal powers at its input while still producing the proper output.
