Abstract
This paper attempts to assess the performance of the urban freight transport (UFT). The objective is to present statistical data that determined the impact of traffic congestion, accessibility, unsafety and ecological impacts on the performance of the UFT. A survey was conducted among managers and users of freight transport in the city of Fez. The data was processed using structural equation modeling (SEM) based on the Smart PLS software, version 3. The SEM path analysis illustrates the interconnections between the main constructs in the data. The results confirmed the significant and positive influence of the following variables on the performance of the UFT.· traffic congestion, accessibility, unsafety and ecological impacts respectively.
