Abstract

The paper proposes a real-time attendance capturing system that uses a two-step authentication process and is based on the user’s location using GPS. The proposed system is implemented as an Android mobile application that communicates with the real-time location of the user and allows the user to mark attendance using the in- built camera of the smartphone.
