CULTURE CLASH IN LANGUAGE LEARNING

Abstract

By looking at the present and history, it is no secret that the need to learn languages has never diminished, but even increased. It is important to note that in modern world, language has become a bridge for the study and dissemination of knowledge. And word by word translation or just learning words cannot help understanding fully any language and use it as native speakers. In this article, we will look at the importance of taking a comprehensive look at the history, culture and traditions of language while providing specific examples. Over the course of my career as a language teacher, I have witnessed that in every lesson, the interpretation of cultures and history led to a significant rapid acquisition of knowledge.
