Abstract
Transportation costs represent the largest forms of expenditure in the Home Health Care (HHC). Decision makers optimize their activities in order to maximize the demand for the HHC. They are confronted with multiple objectives to be optimized simultaneously as minimizing their operating costs while maximizing the satisfaction of their patients. A majority of the previous works consider only the deterministic models which ignore the uncertainties. In this paper, a new bi-objective model for the HHC optimization problem is proposed. The considered problem takes into account the uncertainty of same input data such as travel, service and start times. To solve the problem, a Fuzzy Multi-objective Evolutionary approach is implemented and tested using test instance generated from Solomon benchmark. The obtained results show the effectiveness and suitability of the solution approach to the HHC routing and scheduling problem under uncertainty.
