Abstract

AbstractThis review presents this writer's interpretation of the Brain Growth Periodization data. The literature on the “so-called” Epstein rubric is reviewed and issues involved in studying this area are discussed. These include: concerns about validating Epstein's work, application of the data, over and under-challenging learners, future research issues, and the need to gather longitudinal information in making decisions about this area of investigation.
