Moving towards digital manufacturing in the Arab Region: A 3D printing workshop experience

Abstract

Due to the need of disseminating digital manufacturing culture among Arab's youth generation to become manufacturers rather than consumers, and since Three-Dimensional (3D) printing could be considered one aspect of digital manufacturing, a specialized workshop was prepared and conducted targeting young female high school students. This paper discusses the workshop experience and its results.
