However, the performance of polyimide is restricted by surface discharge and flashover induced by the surface charge accumulation of the insulating polymers. The roughness of polymer’s surface can strongly affect the process of the charge transport. Thus, the impact of surface roughness on surface charge characteristics of polyimide was investigated after corona discharge in this work.
