Abstract

This paper presents a wideband dual circularly polarized patch antenna fed by four L-shaped probes. By designing a microstrip circuit consists of power divider and phase shifter, the presented antenna shows impedance bandwidth of more than 54%. Furthermore, it shows a 3 dB axial-ratio of 46% at 10 GHz. The antenna shows good performance under both polarizations, and the feeding network only occupies a small space, which is conducive to the application of the antenna in phased array.
