Abstract

The influence analysis of the substrate heating time on the optimal duration of the fermentation process in the digester of a biogas plant (BGP) is carried out. The application of the efficiency criterion of the BGP operation to determine the optimal time for the end of the fermentation process in the digester is substantiated. The relevance of the research is because the optimal moment for fermentation process completion of the substrate corresponds to the maximum productivity of the process for the target methane product.
