Abstract

This research aimed to determine: (1) How important English speaking ability is for BIPA teachers; (2) What English speaking macro skills should be prepared to be a BIPA teacher; (3) What obstacles BIPA teachers find in the teaching process and how  they solve them. BIPA教师的英语口语能力与挑战
本研究旨在确定:(1)英语口语能力对BIPA教师的重要性;(2)做BIPA老师应该具备哪些英语口语宏观技能;(3) BIPA教师在教学过程中遇到了哪些障碍,如何解决。本研究采用定性方法。本研究的参与者是来自不同办公室的两位BIPA教师,分别来自西努沙登加拉省语言办公室和马塔兰通用语研究所。本研究主要使用访谈来支持本研究的数据,同时使用观察和文献作为支持来源。本研究结果表明:(1)A1级或一年级的英语口语能力很重要,因为英语是连接学生与印尼语的桥梁;(2) BIPA教师应掌握的英语口语能力的五大宏观技能;(3)教学过程中出现的障碍大多是基于学习者学习印尼语的目的和每个来自不同国家的学生的特点。
