Abstract

Concern for energy saving due to causes such as the depletion of fossil resources or climate change has encouraged the development of different techniques with the aim of energy saving. The maintenance of thermal installations is one of the key tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and systems. For this, the key is to carry out a diagnosis that allows the detection and evaluation of failures. The thermoeconomic diagnosis is a tool capable of identifying the cost increase due to an anomaly in the system.
